Did some texturing and bumping in mudbox today. All my shaders are very shiny, not really getting the photorealistic look on them yet.
Finding it difficult to texture the tabletops with that laminate that most cheap office desks have.
I’ll keep going and see how things turn out.
Previs done for my latest 3D assignment.
Couple of things are missing/not yet done i.e. water sims and ncloths.
Need to find an efficient way of getting the 100 of so pieces of paper to float around without having to make everything a rigid body for it to collide with.
Also recently found out that realflow can’t actually use a “Fill object” emitter to fill a ‘double-walled’ container. So i’ll have to go through and replace the glasses with a single walled proxy in order to get the sims going within RealFlow.
The chaos begins. Most of this is key framed, ncloth was not behaving nicely when trying to constrain larger objects to cords.
Bit of R and D with ncloth to simulate power cables holding stuff down
Good tutorial i’m going to use for computer monitors, mouses and keyboards.

Floating things using nCloth simulations
